The IRC SX type l is compatible with traditional 10mm frame dropouts and can easily mount wheels with 15 or 10mm axles with the 10-15mm adapters included.
Our SX system eliminates any chain slack thanks to the new longer cage fixed on a CNC stainless steel axle. Articulated with two annular bearings and a stainless steel spring, the tension is applied through the derailleur wheel and Teflon pulley for a smooth and effortless pedaling experience.
Adjusting the chainline has never been easier with the lateral adjustment feature on the derailleur roller and Teflon roller. The precise lateral adjustment is achieved with the use of stainless steel axles, guaranteeing a secure and locked position with a 4mm intra-screw in the cage.

The completely removable cage can be easily assembled with Allen keys. The horizontal chain tensioner is adjustable with two stainless steel Allen screws, while the 11-tooth aluminum derailleur pulley, mounted on sealed bearings, and Teflon pulley provide optimal fluidity and reduced resistance.
With a CNC body/yoke junction axle in Z15Cn17 stainless steel, heat-treated stainless steel tension spring, and CNC derailleur pulley axle in Z15Cn17 stainless steel, the SX is built to last. The package also includes a 15 to 10mm adapter in CNC aluminum.

This innovation was designed in France to address recurring problems that Riders have been facing for many years (hard spot, chain tension and changing the crown without disturbing the rear wheel). IRC SX type l is designed for traditional 10 mm frame dropouts, to mount wheels with 15 or 10 mm axles when you use the 10-15mm adapters supplied with the IRC. The IRC SX System creates permanent tension on the chain thanks to the new longer cage which is fixed on a CNC stainless steel axle, articulated using two annular bearings and a stainless steel spring. The tension is exerted on the chain via the derailleur wheel (also mounted on an annular bearing and a stainless steel axle) and the Teflon pulley, which allows for great fluidity and reduced resistance when pedaling. The chainline adjustment is done at the level of the derailleur roller and the Teflon roller (lateral adjustment). The assembly is mounted on stainless steel axles, to carry out a precise lateral adjustment. Once the optimal adjustment, the position of the axle is lockable via a 4mm intra-screw in the cage. The advantages offered by the IRC SX: 1. No more hard point (caused either by the crown, the pinion or the crankset): in fact, the cage is mounted on a spring, allows to automatically correct any defects in the machining of your transmission parts. 2. Change the crown without removing the rear wheel, which is very practical during training or races: it will only take you 2 minutes of handling and will save you precious time.
